My name is Graham Clarke I am based in Taunton Somerset but originally from London.
I have been into photography on and off for over twenty years
I use both Film and digital camera gear with a Fuji s3 Pro digital, Nikon f90x 35mm film and a Bronica GS1 6x7cm film cameras. I use to develop my own photos but these days theres no need as I can correct photos on my mac then send them over the internet to a professional printer this way I don't have to deal with chemicals. I try not to manipulate my photos more than I did in the dark room unless asked to, other wise they can look unreal and I like real photos especially those that look like you can put your hand in and touch the subject
There isn't one specific type of photography I like because all photography has its own window to show to the viewer. I guess its the mood your in at that moment of looking through that dictates if you like it or not.
I definitely don't like that crap the so called art directors choose for the big galleries with the out of focus, bland, blurred and even the dieing in africa photos ( starving african's are not art OK ) and don't get me started on the art world!
I have great respect for all the photographers that strive for quality and substance in there work but I have no respect for the so called artist's that blatantly rip off other peoples talent and call it their own ie- paintings copied from photographs and photo books of graffiti, Any one can photograph graffiti but can they paint graffiti?. (The graffiti artist can't sue for copyright so are easy pickings.)
